These days, it’s hard to keep things under wraps and it doesn’t matter if you’re rich and influential – things are still going to get out.
That seems to be what’s happened to AirAsia CEO Tony Fernandes, whose wedding in Cote d’Azur, France, last weekend went from hush-hush to talk-of-the-town.
From leaked photos of Fernandes and his newly-minted South Korean bride – who’s only known as Chloe by the way – earlier in the week, now a short video has emerged of the couple walking into what appears to be their wedding reception.
You can’t even trust your dinner guests, can you?
The one minute thirty seven second clip captured by an unknown dinner guest, shows Fernandes, dressed in a dapper suit, walking in hand-in-hand with his bride into a well-lit gazbeo. Chloe, whose true identity remains a mystery, is seen wearing a glittery white evening gown.
American R&B singer Eric Benet is heard crooning his slow number “The Last Time”, backed by a live band, as guests stood up and applauded the newlyweds.
The couple had reportedly been dating for more than two years before they got married.
The wedding was reportedly attended by AirAsia chairman and Tune Group chief executive Datuk Kamarudin Meranun, CIMB Group chairman Datuk Seri Nazir Razak and former international trade and industry minister Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz.
Guests were also reportedly asked to refrain from sharing any photos from the ceremony.
Look how that panned out?
