A drawing of Najib has appeared in a Korean music video.

The now-famous clown-like cartoon of former Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak has again shocked many on the Internet, after appearing in a K-pop music video this time round.

The painting can be seen in a music video of the single Falling In Love by K-pop singers Woo Jin Young and Kim Hyun Soo, with almost 500,000 views so far.

The drawing, originally created by graphic artist and political activist Fahmi Reza, gained notoriety in Malaysia after the artist was fined and jailed for posting a sketch of the photo two years ago. Hollywood celebrity Kal Penn of “Harold and Kumar” and “House” fame, even took note of the drawing.

In the video above, the cartoon image is seen in one of the more colourful sets, and Fahmi himself tweeted: “These K-pop artists don’t know the face of the cartoon is the face of Najib Razak? Even a protest symbol of anti-corruption from Malaysia can find its way to a K-pop music video.”

Najib is facing troubles of his own now, as he faces over 20 charges including money laundering and abuse of power.
