Actor Zul Ariffin has refuted claims that he uploaded a graphic picture on his Instagram account last last Friday, instead pinning the blame on hackers looking to “tarnish” his name.
The 31-year-old actor, who has around 2 million followers on his social media page, had an obscene picture of a man’s genitalia posted as an Instagram story, according to the New Straits Times.
The star of action film Tombiruo said: “Some crazy hacker did it. It’s not me, and I don’t do crazy things like flashing my modesty in social media.”
Zul said he deleted the post two minutes after it was uploaded, but that did not prevent some of his followers from discovering it.
Meanwhile, others on social media asked around to see if anyone had the deleted picture.

This is not the first time that he has been hacked either.
Zul said: “In the past, hackers attacked my account, and I could not access it.”
Zul said he became flooded with messages and that led him to change his Instagram account’s password so that hackers would not be able to hack his account in the future.
His fan club was the the first report this incident, citing that his account had been hacked and an administrator apologised for any offence caused by the post.
Hi guys, pls note that The Boss’ account was hacked earlier. He has since removed the posts and all is under control. We apologise if any of the posts have offended you in anyway. The Boss will take necessary actions to prevent it from happening again. #zulariffin
