The iPhone is an extremely powerful handheld tool, and when you add in some third-party apps, the possibilities are near-endless.

One feature added in iOS 13 is that you can now flip any picture straight from your Photos app. This is great if you need a picture’s mirror image – for example, if you’re trying to read some backwards text.

Not every phone can download iOS 13, however; if you have an iPhone 6 or earlier, you’ll need a third-party app. Given Photoshop’s reputation as the gold standard for editing pictures, Photoshop Express is a great free app to download for this purpose.

With Photoshop Express, you’ll be able to edit your photos in ways more advanced than with the standard iPhone editing package. This includes flipping an image to its mirror.

Here’s how to do it.
