These are Malaysia’s most Instagrammed places in 2018

Malaysia is a beautiful concoction of attractions – including urban landscapes, colonial architecture, thriving wildlife and beautiful beaches.

So of course, when in Malaysia, photos for the ‘gram are a must.

Social media giant Facebook just released its 2018 Year In Review today (Dec 6), unveiling Malaysia’s most geo-tagged landmarks on Instagram this year.

The top 5 are:

1. Petronas Twin Towers

It comes as no surprise that Kuala Lumpur’s uber tall twin skyscrapers – opened in 1999 and built to house the headquarters of Petronas – top the list.

The futuristic-looking buildings are among the world’s tallest, and are a 21st-century icon for the city.
